We asked how long it would be, and we were told by the front desk clerk that she had no idea and no way of knowing. We were told at 3:40pm that our room was not ready (check in is 3pm). Like other reviewers have mentioned, our check in experience was not a good one.

We gambled a little, didn't win or lose a. I don't know how this resort is going to handle convention traffic when the front desk seems overwhelmed on a normal day. Construction was not an issue for us and we only encountered it when walking to the pro shop and signatures restaurant. The trail is well marked which is helpful. We ran the lakeside loop and it can be tricky with a lot of tree roots and some loose rocks, so be sure you wear shoes with good tread.

Housekeeping was good as you'd expect, and the resort was very clean from casino to trails to public areas. Ultimately, our room was very nice, and I recommend the lake view on an upper floor so that you get a clear view. There were only two people working at the front desk, so the line was wrapped through the lobby and into the sitting area. I agree with others that they need a system that is better than, 'sorry, try again later.'. She said we'd just have to wait awhile and then get back in line.
