There is a network of interconnected trails on the south shore of Lake Quinault through the Quinault Forest. Most of Lake Quinault’s southern shore is surrounded by Quinault National Forest. Olympic National Park lies along the north shore and Olympic National Forest lies along most of the south shore. There are two main roads in the valley. The North Shore Road and the South Shore Road run along the two main sides of the lake and the river.
